We are a nationally recognized 501(c) (3) nonprofit corporation, dedicated to helping adults improve their basic literacy skills.
Vision Literacy is the only literacy organization in Silicon Valley to meet all 16 rigorous quality standards required by ProLiteracy America.
Vision Literacy relies heavily on our volunteers, most of who work as tutors throughout Santa Clara County. Our programs feature one-on-one and group tutoring sessions as well as classes that focus on specific learner needs. Our learners' successes have changed their lives in countless ways. Tutors enrich our community by helping adults become empowered community members by increasing their literacy skills.
