Golden Rule Day was celebrated by URI-UN, along with the working group on Sacred &Transcendental Arts of the NGOCommittee on Spirituality, Values and Global Concerns-NY. Diane Williams, founder of the Source of Synergy Foundation, was the first North American to be awarded the GoldenRule Medal, established by the Interfaith Peace-building Initiative in Ethiopia.
