This is a short video that explains the difference between a landfill and a dump and also explains briefly the process of capturing methane gas as bio-diesel. The town in Ontario is not currently using the gas for electricty, but will begin the process shortly. While the video does a good job of explaining how landfills work, the producers seem to think that this way of handling our waste is "nifty" - it seems that there must be a way of keeping so much trash out of our ground in the first place.
