Close the Loop was founded in 2000 with the goal to build the market for recycled products made in the USA from waste plastics, tires & glass; help people & the planet along the way.  Although art has always been close at heart, the main goal has been to move a sizable amount of waste materials at the best price for the most beneficial use (fencing, mulches, safety surfacing).  We encourage you to purchase a necklace made with recycled glass or a horse tire swing or a purse crocheted out of plastic grocery bags; but what we really need to make an impact is to use a ton (2,000 lbs) of glass or rubber mulch for your flower beds and playgrounds.  In doing so,  you'll be using 100 tires in a ton to keep your kids safer on playgrounds and about 2,000 bottles in a ton of 100% post-consumer tumbled glass mulch.  One section of fencing uses about 300 milk jugs!  By building the demand for these products, we can build more green jobs and cleanup environmental problems.   Visit www.closetheloop.com for more info on being part of the solution!
