For any of you upcycling enthusiasts who have spent time perusing the site here at Manyone, you might remember This Article on floating landfills.  Well if that article struck a chord you might be interested in what David de Rothschild is doing.  He was similarly upset by the destruction we have been wreaking on the ocean and was moved to action.  He and his crew have built an ocean-worthy catamaran entirely out of plastic bottles and other recyclable plastic materials.  The venture is set for this summer and Rothschild hopes that his journey through the center of this oceanic wasteland will help spread awareness of the human impact on parts of the world we don't often get to see.

That is neat. I wish that we could do that with cruiseliners!!!!!!!!!!!Too bad that cruiseliners couldnt do that. It would save alot of oil and C02 emissions to the environment.
