What's so scary about Plastic?

The following link will take you to one of the most frightening things you will see today.  You dont have to crank your volume, no one will morph into a monster, this stuff is all real.  You may feel more like a monster at the end but it's not your fault.  In 30 slides it makes the argument that we must stop the widespread use of plastic bags for a variety of reasons.  These span from the hundreds of species being harmed and killed by their use, to the 10 percent of landfills made up by plastic, to the dangers in the chemicals that break down in the bags over time, to the massive savings accumulated by countries that have already switched.  I don't know about you all but I'm a fairly skeptical guy; I like a full picture to be painted, and this document definitley leaves you knowing there has to be a better way.  Well here it is, the epic that is plastic and all it has brought into the world: files/36801_36900/36893/file_36893.pdf
