Every day upcycling becomes more of a viable choice for individuals to make, and companies like TerraCycle are doing their part to make it easier for everyone.  TerraCycle runs a two-pronged campaign that on one end collects recyclables in schools promoting awareness and familiarizing kids with the concept of upcycling.  On the other end they take these recycled bottles and containers and upcycle them into a variety of earth friendly products.  By providing incentives for upcycling to occur and educating those who contribute, TerraCycle's founders, Tom Szaky and Jon Beyer have created an environmentally friendly business model with plenty of room for growth.  They have targeted their approach by focusing on schools and are doing a big part to bring upcycling into the public consciousness.  Here is a video of a program they run and how the upcycling occurs.
