Regional consultation on the Rules of Procedure of AICHR
|
Objectives
1. To consult legal and human rights experts and national and thematic focal points of SAPA Task Force on ASEAN and Human Rights on the civil society draft of RoP.
2. To develop common positions among civil society organizations on the RoP for advocacy.
3. To finalise the civil society draft of RoP for AICHR.
4. To strategise lobby and advocacy plan on the RoP of AICHR.
The IP Focal Point of the Solidarity for Asian Peoples Advocacy (SAPA) Task Force on ASEAN and Human Rights will be attending this consultation. |

Southeast Asia Regional Workshop on Childrens Participation in ASEAN
|
This regional consultation aims at the following:
Level-off on the notion, concept and practical implications of children’s participation at the regional level;
Gather inputs from child rights advocates strategies in ensuring children’s participation in ASEAN;
Define the possible roles and contributions of adult child rights advocates in supporting children’s participation in ASEAN.
The participants will be coming from child rights organisations who had been working on children's engagement with ASEAN.
A participant working on indigenous children's education will be attending the workshop. |
