Content Update Issues (App) Last Updated on 2016-03-15 17:04:22 In the event your book or course becomes corrupted and is either no longer accessible or fails to update, you may have to manually delete the course or book and re-download it. If a course which you have already downloaded has been updated, manually deleting and re-downloading it will get you the most up-to-date version. Don't worry: Any highlights or notes you may have added will remain intact even after deleting the course or book.   To manually delete a course or book, you have to press and hold with your finger on the cover of the book that is failing or corrupted. After a few seconds, a dialog box will appear asking if you wish to remove the content stored on the device.   By selecting "Yes" all of the downloaded content for that book or course will be removed and you will have to download the entire book... Access User Information from Account Bar (Web) Last Updated on 2015-12-14 17:07:59 The primary method for the user to access their personal account information is through the Account Bar: Located at the top right of all Trunity Platform pages, this provides the user access to all of their account specific information. 1. On the far left  is a greeting to the user by the first name that was entered into the Sign Up form. 2. Just to the right of the greeting is a small "House" icon that grants the user access to their "My Profile". From your My Profile page you can edit your Profile.  Using the controls on the left you can use the Trunity messaging system, view and manage your platform bookmarks, view your bookshelf - a list of all Trunity sites where you are a member, and, using Peers, see other members of sites where you are a member. 3. The next icon is an envelope and provides the same access to your... More »
Trunity Navigation Controls (Web) Last Updated on 2015-12-11 16:21:38 Overview of Navigation Controls The Navigation and use of the course/textbook features make moving from chapter to chapter very simple. Once in a chapter the user can use the arrow keys to move to the next section or back. Further, the Search and Bookmark features allow the user to identify content of interest and mark it for easy return. The Glossary Tab provides access to the glossary for the entire book. Finally, the Annotate feature allows each user to use an advanced "highlighter" feature to mark and provide note for a specific phrase or passage. On the main page above, there are several major controls of note. At the top of the page is the title of the Course/Textbook. This is visible from anywhere in the book and will return the user to the main page. Highlighting and Annotation (Web) Last Updated on 2015-12-10 16:40:21 A key feature of the Trunity Platform is the Annotate capability. This feature allows the user to select a word, phrase or segment of text and create a note associated with that text. The note that is created is specific to that users account and no other user will be able to see that annotation.  Only text that is part of a content type can be annotated. 1. In the article use your cursor to highlight the word, phrase or text segment of interest. When you have finished the highlighting, you should see a small "Annotate" label appear above the selected text. 2. Click on the Annotate label and enter your desired note or description and Click on Save.  3. When you view the article after saving the annotation, you will see that your text is now highlighted in yellow. You may edit or delete the annotation at any time by clicking on the yellow highlight.
