You can upload files and and attach a hyperlink so that others may view and/or the download files. It's easy to do — just follow steps below in the Text Editor:

  1. Type the name of the item you want to appear, for instance "My Presentation"

  2. Select name you just typed with the text cursor, e.g. "My Presentation"

  3. Click the  Link/Upload tool in the Text Editor toolbar

  4. In the pop-up window, click the third tab (see illustration above right for details)

  5. Click  button and specify the file on your computer to be uploaded

  6. Important: be sure to click  the button, and wait for the upload to be completed

  7. Then click the  button (near the buttom of the pop-up window), and the hyperlinked text will be linked to the file you just uploaded, e.g. "My Presentation"

Please note: Common files types such as Web readable files (e.g. Acrobat PDF, MPEG, QuickTime MOV, Windows Media and MP3) as well as Office files (such as DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, PPT, PPTX) will upload just fine as described above. For other file formats, we recommend first archiving  into a ZIP (i.e. "*.zip") file prior to uploading it as described above.
