Fundraising:Platinum Touchless Car Wash concludes its successful fundraiser for the New Hampshire Food Bank
Newly opened Touchless Car Wash announces the results of its recent fundraiser to help support our New Hampshire Neighbors in need.
Londonderry, NH January 6, 2006 - Platinum Touchless Car Wash today announced that that a total of $1000 was raised to support the New Hampshire Food Bank. The fundraiser was based on the contribution of a portion of car wash proceeds realized from November and December.
"I want to thank all of our customers, friends, and neighbors here in greater Londonderry for patronizing our car wash and making it possible for us to help support this very worthy cause. Family budgets are stretched tight this winter with higher energy prices. No one wants to see families forced to compromise the quantity and quality of food they and their children can eat", stated Ken Marcks, owner of Platinum Touchless Car Wash. According to Erin Chamberlin, Program services Director of the NH Food Bank, the $1000 being donated will provide for 4000 meals for NH families in need.
