PEACE DAY will highlight the vitally important work of organizations and individuals around the world dedicated to creating a more peaceful, just and sustainable world.  Organizations participating in the 24 Hour Broadcast that maintain a website here on the Digital Universe are linked to from this section, please visit them
For 24-hours we will be using the Internet for the highest good - To promote the positive, innovative and solution oriented work of these organizations and individuals for the purpose of inspiring and empowering the world's peoples to take concerted action to create a better world for present and future generations. 
The program will feature the work of large international organizations, small community groups and individuals in villages around the globe.  In many cases this will be the first time these groups and individuals have ever been given international attention.
