History: Prototype Browser

The 3-D Solar System in this browser remains unparalleled.

This prototype browser was developed and released in 2005 to give users a real three-dimensional experience. It is scientifically accurate (Berkley Ames/NASA) and real-time with a play station quality user experience.  It is still used widely for teaching and exploring the Solar System.
