Welcome to the Interfaith Center of Northern Westchester, building a community of spiritual seekers.

We are located in the Chapel at Croton Falls, NY.

Although we are quite new, we already have various rich programs to invite you to attend! Please mark your calendar for the following events:

Interfaith Sundays -10:30 am (monthly)

September 18th - "The UN International Day of Peace," with special guests Rev. Dr. Susan Andrews, general Presbyter of the Hudson River Presbytery, Ven. Ji-Xing, president of the Buddhist Association of the United States, Rabbi Susan Mitrani-Knapp, Bear Walker, Anishinabe medicine man, and a rededication of our Peace Pole.

October 16th - "Reclaiming the Feminine Aspect of God," led by renowned author, Prof. Neela Saxena, with interfaith presenters. This service will include an authentic goddess ritual ceremony honoring the goddess in the Hindu tradition.

November 16th - "Reconciliation," a moving ritual of forgiveness with the First Peoples and among all peoples in conflict, led by Rev. Melanie Gambino and Barbara Morse Lubell, along with the theme of reconciliation in the world's religions. Special musical guest Chris Farrell, composer of "Love Sustained."

December 18th - "Winter Solstice," with Native American medicine man Bear Walker. SPECIAL TIME: 6:00-7:30 PM. Drumming, music, Anishinabe seed ceremony. Bring a candle!

2012

January 22nd - "Healing for the New Year" led by Rev. Melanie Gambino and Rona Levine.

February 19th - "Calling All Angels" with music by Viva Strings! students from John Jay Middle School.

Thursday Evening Silent Meditations - 7:30 pm (weekly)

NOTE: WEEKLY MEDITATIONS SUSPENDED FOR THE WINTER SEASON.

Join us in the beautiful Chapel at Croton Falls for a weekly journey into stillness. We sit in silence for 30 minutes and share our experiences if we wish. Beginner and experienced meditators are all welcome.
