Dialoging for Diversity

HREC offers a variety of workshops that address a wide range of issues surrounding differences and divides among people. We take pride in designing programs that relate to a topic that our client and/or community want addressed. We have experience in creating diversity dialogues that incorporate music, drumming, movement, watching a film, or doing a collective art project. An environment is intentionally created where people can dialogue truthfully across lines of difference. Each session is highly interactive and teaches the skills of dialogue through the suspension of judgment and status. Using respectful dialogue and the skills of deep listening, empathy is engaged and hidden assumptions are revealed. Each participant realizes their individual contributions are valued and integral to the success of the organization.
