The Media Studio Youth Apprenticeship Program is one of five core programs at Spy Hop Productions and is dedicated to providing underserved youth with hands-on education and real-world career experiences in three multimedia disciplines: film/video production, audio production, and web development.
For five months, high school-age apprentices work with professional mentors and educators to design, develop, and implement scalable media campaigns for local businesses and non-profit groups. Project highlights since 2002 include television and radio public service announcements, promotional reels, industry videos, and web sites for: United Way of Salt Lake City, Intermountain Health Care, the Road Home, and The TRUTH for Youth Campaign.
