Flagstaff Arts and Leadership Academy, Inc. is a not for profit corporation licensed to own and operate charter schools in the State of Arizona.  It is committed to providing a learning environment that will present academic, social and personal skills children need to become life-long learners and productive members of society, and provide additional academic choices for parents.

The Corporate Board is comprised of no less than five Directors, selected from the academic and business community.  Directors must obtain a Fingerprint Card with the Arizona Department of Education.  Directors must posess significant experience and be qualified to further the committment of the Corporation through education, management and fund-raising.

The Corporate Board is responsible for the authorization, oversight and ratification of the acts of the Administration and for compliance with state or federal statute.  Additionally, it is responsible for compliance with its sponsoring board, the Arizona State Board for Charter Schools.
