Founded in 1996, FALA has proven itself one of the most successful charter schools in Arizona. As a public charter, FALA offers free quality education for its student body comprising grades 9-12. Our Goals: •Make learning relevant through the integration of disciplines, concepts, and methodologies. •Develop critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and technical skills through the integration and synthesis of ideas. •Provide opportunities for the cultivation of the student as a whole being. •Emphasize and model a love of learning. •Develop an appreciation of the arts in the lives of its students. •Value leadership and interpersonal skills through experiential learning and service to others. •Strengthen learning and a sense of community through the development of partnerships. |
| FALA is not for everyone. We do not offer sports. We do not even have a lunchroom. Students either bring their lunch or buy lunch from on-campus options, such as New Fronteirs. Students who do best at FALA are the ones who love the arts. They are students who think for themselves, and who desire to know more than what they are told. They are students who want to give back to the community. | ![]() |
