Audit Proposal for Flagstaff Arts and Leadership Academy

TeligentCharter has offered to audit Flagstaff Arts and Leadership Academy in five different areas to ensure that it receives every dollar available this year before the May 29^th cut off and to ensure that it receives every dollar available next year, based on this year’s student data.

The primary focus of the audit will be human resources, payroll, student enrollment, absence rate, entitlements, and other needs. Each of these areas will be analyzed for the parts that pertain to funding.

1. Human Resources/Payroll

2. Student Enrollment

   1. Current student population

      1. State reporting vs. Actual count

   2. ADM and ADA funding

   3. Estimated Count

   4. 40^th day and 100^th day count

   5. 1.0 and .5

3. Absence Rate

   1. Per grade level

   2. Total school

   3. Meeting patterns in School Master

   4. Sign in and out sheets

4. Entitlements

   1. Federal grants that are non competitive

   2. IDEA monies

5. Needs

   1. Correct reporting of:

      1. Homeless

      2. Special Education

      3. English Language Learners

      4. Free and Reduced Students

It is our desire to have the initial audit complete with a summary of key recommendations and a defined implementation plan as to how we would propose to remedy the current situations.
