If we are to understand the urge in man to fish, we must dig down through the strata of dirt and rocks and compost deep into the earth, back to primitive man to find our clues. After getting a look at the ancestors of Howard Stern, most of us conclude that if we are to learn anything of redeeming value, we must go back further still. And so we examine Cro Magnon man. He was an early man. He hunted mastodon, so naturally, he and his wife ate mastodon. That was pretty much all they ate. They were sick and tired of mastodon. One day, primitive man’s wife got fed up. (No pun intended.) In the middle of eating mastodon nuggets, she shouted, "I’m sick of mastodon. I want something else."
