Like all communities, we are becoming more aware of the challenges and opportunities associated climate change. Tourism is both a victim and a contributor to climate change, accounting, on average,  for 5% of global emissions. 

Tourism Vancouver is committed to doing what it can to reduce tourism's carbon footprint and has embarked on a multi-faceted reduction strategy.
