Utah URI hosts delegation from Afghanistan

The Utah URI recently hosted their sixth interfaith dialogue with a U.S. State Dept. Delegation.

This delegation was from Afghanistan.

They shared the need to address the extreme poverty that the years of war have brought along with the need to fight the growing of poppy which is now the driving engine of their economy.

The group was invited to participate in the URI Global Assembly in Seoul Korea next year.
