Every election year the Utah State Democratic Party's Platform Committee submits a revised, timely platform to delegates attending state convention. Contained within the 2010-2012 platform is the Democratic Party's position on the following:

- National Security
- Economic Development
- Public Safety and Health
- Our Environmental Legacy
- Community
