Concept Background:

The Peace Website web community was created as the non-profit vanguard of the Free Digital Universe, as a way to fortify the efforts of Peace-promoting Organizations in leveraging the tools of the Information Age so we may address poverty, the environment, globalization, and lack of critical life resources for half the planets population.

The Peace Website Humanitarian Trust was created as a seperate component of the Peace Website Enterprise as a means of organizing distribution and integration of organizations supported through the FDU Game.   The concept for Peace Website includes marrying a virtual Game,  (the FDU) with a Information Age economic model that funds a variety of humanitarian groups over a wide geographic spread, thereby increasing the overall power and effectiveness of each individual group in a unified enterprise community.

Enterprise Goals:

To identify, develop, implement, and sustain promising practices that address the core of the issue - the Industrial Age Economic Model - with innovative and multidisciplinary approaches to reduce persistent poverty.

Creating pathways to economic security, self-sufficiency and sustainability is crucial for everyone, most especially young people who are inheriting a world struggling to find a balance.

In 2009, when the Prosperity Program comes online, Peace Website and many of it's projects and partners will become self-funded via donations from the Prosperity Program sponsors whom are making a donation to Peace Website every time a digital sale is made on the platform.

Additionally, other built-in fundraising proceeds for non-profits are realized even if that organization is inactive; what is great about Peace Website is that should a specific project be needed to compliment other projects, this fund allows us to activate and leverage that resource without all the normal re-tape of getting these types of activities funded.

We will do our part to implement the Millenium Development Goals.
