This system allows people to exchange (recycle) clothes, toys, gadgets, coupons and more using “community credit” to get things they need; thereby decreasing the amount of “public money” one must earn to meet their family or individual needs.
People bring things in to their local exhcange location and are issued credits, they can then take things out, or look on-line at the community auction and buy something from another community using their credits. Who Creates Peace?Last Updated on 2008-03-22 05:25:45We do together; it takes all of You, Me and all the other living conscious human beings on the planet to first choose it, then demonstrate it.
Time Magazine in choosing their person of the Year [for 2006] as those whom are building a Digital Democracy can help us achieve this goal together, because they are already inter-connected.
"Web 2.0 is a massive social experiment... an opportunity to build a new kind of international understanding, not politician to politician, great man to great man, but citizen to citizen, person to person." - Time, Dec 25 of 2006
If that is You, check out the Peace Portal, it's all about solving problems as peers without prejudice to color, nationality, religion, or sexual preference - Global Warming and Human Rights abuses care nothing about such prejudices.
As the Time article points out, many more "You's" will be joining the digital realms, and... More »
