Zarana Bavishi, 15, is excited about playing with computer graphics and digital arts while learning technology skills — and she's especially excited at the thought of new media as a career prospect.

The grade 10 student who came to Canada from Mumbai, India in 2007 is among the hundreds of immigrant youth in her neighbourhood (Kennedy East-Kennedy Park in the east end of Toronto, Ontario) who will now have free access to state-of-the-art technology through the ProTech Media Centre.
