MDG 1: Eradication of Extreme Hunger and Poverty:
- An Epicenter farm (2-acres), 6 group farms (9 acres) and 3 community farms (7 acres) were established with a total estimated output of 105 maxi bags of maize (10,500 kg). Part of the produce will be used to stock the food bank.
- A 2-acre Citrus farm has also been cultivated at the Kyempo epicenter farmland to generate income to support other development projects.

MDG 2: Achieve Universal and Primary Education:
Three Kindergarten Schools (Kyempo Presby, Banso-Asuboi Presby, and Takyikrom D/A were supplied with 6 kilograms of beans seeds each, for cultivation to feed the kids with nutritious meals.

MDG 3: Promote Gender Equality and Empower Women:
Three hundred and fifty-five 355 people were educated by the WEP Animators on "Child Maintenance", “Marriage Laws & Divorce” and “Intestate Succession". The objective was to increase awareness about the rights of women as far as these issues are concerned.

MDG 4: Reduce Child Mortality:
Two hundred and twenty-five (225) children under five years, made up of 96 males and 129 females were immunized against measles, polio, tetanus, diphtheria, yellow fever, and whooping cough to reduce infant mortality.

MDG 5: Improve Maternal Health:
Thirty-three (33) pregnant women attended antenatal clinic.

|
MDG 6: Combat HIV/AIDS and other Diseases:
The Kyempo Epicenter Clinic has started Voluntary, Counseling and Testing (VCT) of HIV/AIDS. Out of 81people who went for the test, two ladies in their early thirties were found to be positive. The nurse who did the test counselled the two ladies to go for further tests at the JuasoDistrictHospital for confirmation of their HIV status.

MDG 7: Ensure Environmental Sustainability:
5. 5 acres of woodlots were established at Kyempo to provide fuelwood for domestic and commercial purposes and thereby reduce dependence on the natural forests.

MDG 8: Develop a Global Partnership for Development:
- The Planned Parenthood Association of Ghana (PPAG) supplies condoms to THP for distribution to community members through the HIV/AIDS Animators. Two hundred and fifty-six (256) pieces of male condoms were sold out to the people.
- Extension Officers of the Ministry of Agric. Work with THP’s trained ToTs to provide technical support to farmers in the area.
