 It's been an interesting winter, and looks to be an eventful summer to come. The weather has pulled out a few surprises. Last week I saw substantial hail through sunshine, a few weeks back the car was snowed in for a couple days. 

There has been much renewed activity on Main Street. If you have noticed, the 500 block, between 5th and 6th streets, has been especially active lately. The new location for our local community radio station KSOW fm 106.7 has proved to be a popular place throughout the winter. We've had several live shows and a couple potluck dinners with much success and fun. Now that Michael Cippollina has Frank's lightshow cooking, it has transformed into quite the scene on select evenings. The lightshow there is from Frank's reign at the legendary Fillmore East in San Francisco!

Isaac and his crew have opened a welcome and stylized bistro across from the station named Café Orion. They serve a variety of delectable dishes, a stage with live entertainment, big-screen gaming, and internet access stations.
