The Aerial Art events will launch on the lawn of the Eiffel Tower in Paris on June 29th and continue through December of 2008. Aerial Art Circles will represent a standard forum for peaceful action with which to take an on-going stand for those who cannot take a stand for themselves. The events are designed to inspire change from the top down but empower people from the bottom up. A ripple effect that will originate from each continent and will likely be lead and created by everyday people yet will capture the attention of the World’s Leaders.
The goal of Circle Up Now is to touch, motivate and inspire participants and viewers worldwide to stand up for their Human Rights - to get them involved with local, national and international organizations already making progress in ths area.
At this crucial moment in history, when fundamental sovereignty of every human’s rights is at stake, our Global Community has a unique opportunity to come together in solidarity and take a stand for Universal Human Rights. We are at this unique moment in history for the Human Rights Movement due to the convergence of three elements: the Beijing Olympics, the US Presidential Election and the 60th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Living in an age of information much of the developed world has access to the most up-to-date world events and at the forefront of Human Rights issues is the current situation in Tibet.
Circle Up Now is the ideal vehicle at the ideal moment in time to capture the world’s audience and empower individuals worldwide to take action towards basic Human Rights for all. We are poised to trigger an organic, viral, non-violent expression of global support for Human Rights that will bring tangible results and advance these causes in its wake. Through a series of marquee events using high-profile names in the visual arts world Circle Up Now will catalyze a viral expression of solidarity through live events and an online social networking community on behalf of the Human Rights movement. These events will inspire other socially minded groups and organizations as well as individually fragmented pieces of the population to come together for one greater movement.
