Artistic Studies: Charlotte began painting in her early sixties, when she moved to Leisure World in the Maryland suburbs of Washington, DC. For Charlotte, Art Class began as something to try and, eventually, became a passion. Many of her paintings were experiments, inspired by a class assignment.
